So much of what we have learned has come from Dr. Jerry Tennant, MD. Because I reference him and his work so often, I thought it would be wise to tell you more about him, his background and his contributions to medicine. Jerry Tennant, MD

As impressive as that CV is, you may miss a lot by casually
reading it. It doesn’t directly tell you, for example, that
Dr. Tennant pioneered outpatient ophthalmic surgery, lens implantation
surgery, and excimer laser surgery. He was told he was crazy every time,
and each one of those things is now standard practice. He led
the Dr. Tennant’s Curriculum Vitae doesn’t tell you that he did much of the FDA study to gain approval of the VISX excimer laser used in Lasik surgery And, his CV certainly doesn’t tell you how those cases affected his life. At the time of the FDA trials they did not realize that live viruses were being released from the cornea with each cut – viruses that penetrated their masks. In 1994 Dr. Tennant wound up with viral encephalitis, neuropathies, low platelets (ITP = bleeds easily), and nervous system defects that forced him to retire on Nov. 30, 1995. As he puts it – I could still diagnose you, I just couldn’t remember how to write a prescription.” He slept 16 hours a day for the next several years, and had about 3 hours a day of being mentally functional. His wife, Marilyn cared for and sustained him through these difficult years, but in the summer of 1999 it looked as if he would certainly die. About that same time Dr. Tennant had a friend with a lymphoma around her neck. All treatments at M.D. Anderson had failed for Janet. Fighting to survive, she went to Mexico to seek alternative treatments. A physician she met in a restaurant gave her his card and said “Lymphoma is not problem”. She dismissed him and never planned to call him, but after being nearly strangled to death by the lymphoma that night, she decided to give it a try. Using energetic medicine techniques, Janet’s lymphoma was gone in four days. When she saw Dr. Tennant three weeks later his journey into energetic medicine began, and it was this path that led to his physical restoration. He is a man of such deep intellect, with a pioneering spirit, and a willingness to figure out the “whys” of things when the answers are so non-traditional – we are blessed that he is leading the way for all of us. |
